Boca, FL (FoxNews.com) — A Boca restaurant is offering its customers the chance to shake seafood.
The restaurant is Shake Fish Restaurant in Boca and they are offering Shake Seafood, a $8.95 plate of salmon and shrimp served with lettuce, tomato, onions, tomatoes, pickles and pickled peppers, for $16.95.
It’s the first time Shake Seafeed has been offered at a Boca eatery.
They’ve been in the market for a few months and it took them a couple of weeks to find a spot, according to the restaurant’s website.
The seafood is made with a blend of seaweed and plant-based ingredients, including avocado, ginger, cucumber, lettuce, carrot, and tomato.
It has a lightness to it that you wouldn’t think from the name, said owner Brian Hagan.
“We’re trying to make something that’s light and refreshing, so I think that’s a nice compliment,” he said.
The restaurant is also offering a special menu for the occasion.
“Our menu is more casual than the regular menu,” Hagan said.
“There’s something for everyone.
It’s a lot of different dishes and we’re trying new things with different flavors.”
