Former Trump White House adviser Jared Kushner has been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller as part of the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, The New York Times reported Thursday.
Kushner has also been interviewed on Thursday by the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is probing possible ties between Trump associates and Russia, the newspaper reported.
The New Yorker’s report said Kushner had agreed to the interview with Mueller.
Kushner’s lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Times report cited sources close to Kushner as saying that Kushner is cooperating with the probe.
Mueller is leading the investigation into Russian meddling in the election.
The report also said the probe is looking into whether Trump obstructed justice during the 2016 campaign.
